    Hi,
We may need a little bit more info. Your system specs says your OS is 64 bit. What kind of OS? There are a lot of reasons why your wifi connection adapter may be doing this. Do you have a static-IP? Have you tried re-installing/disabling your adapter? Are your putting in the right password? There are alot of question so before anyone can help you you are going to have to explain a little bit better.

    Welcome to SF,

Pls remove the current wireless network profiles stored in your computer, then try connecting to your school's Wi-Fi. If it's secured make sure to type in the correct security key.
Easy Way to Delete Wireless Network Profile in Windows 7

    Pls give us an update.

Hi zero117, welcome to sevenforums. I personally would not delete your wireless network profiles as this will leave you unable to connect to your home wifi. When you go to your school, does your laptop show the name of the school network as being an available connection if you click on the yellow triangle symbol and choose "Show available networks"? If so, double click on the available network and then go through the screens to setup the connection. Once you have done this (remember to save the settings), the connection should be available for use in the future. Go through the same procedure for each network you want to access and have the setup details for.

Deleting wireless profiles is also refreshing your wireless connections. Sometimes doing this helps you get connected to another wireless network, secured and non-secured connection. I've done this a couple of times and it worked for me.
Wireless Profiles do come back though, and it's easy to re-add your network profile again just in case.
