    UPnP activation.

    Hey there.
I think I should post it here because it's a Network issue.
I want to turn on the UPnP because I want to host games in MW2.
So any hints how to do it?
I was searching the whole morning in settings but nothing.
    Thanks in advance.

I would think this works for the PC:

Network and Sharing Center, Change advanced sharing settings, Turn on network discovery.

    Give it a go.

    ALSO:

This works and have used it myself, "DisableUPNP.exe" from GRC.com

    Here:
    http://www.grc.com/unpnp/unpnp.htm

You CAN enable with this utility as well, it just has the one name though.

Also be sure to enable UPnP in your router's configuration page, typically http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 but could be something else, depending on your router make and model.

    Yes. this too

I do port forwarding myself and avoid upnp, but that's another issue.

    Good point Yaksipper

In addition to the other suggestions, check that your UPNP Device Host service is set to automatic and started.

hey guys i did all the stuff you said.
i clicked Turn On Network Discovery than "save" but when i took a look again just to check i saw that even though i turned it on before it was still of. I repeated the action again and again and again but it automaticly it turn's it self off.
I also downloaded that app UPnP.exe from the website (GRC | UnPlug n' Pray - Disable the Dangerous UPnP Internet Server ) but it doesn't work.It says
"Admin Privileges Required" and it has an option below to log off my PC and then log it on but still nothing.
So if you guys have an idea what might be Wrong pls Reply Back thanks.
