Win7 PC stopped showing up on Mac

Before Windows 7, the PC would show up as a network connection on my Mac, now it doesn't, which makes syncing my iTunes annoying - all the music is store on the PC.

How can I get Windows 7 to allow the PC to show up on the Mac...Mac settings haven't changed, PC's have, so I assume that's the machine at error.

Mac shows up fine on the Windows machine.

You have to set up your Windows 7 machine to share via a Workgroup like it has in the past, not a Homegroup.

If I could find "Local Security Policy" in my Administration Tools I would try that, but it's not there.

Edit, did a search on the PC for secpol, came across two files, both, when opened, open Local Security Policy but there's a big red thing with a cross in it saying "MMC could not create the snap-in".

Confused.
