    Teredo Tunneling

I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I was in my device manager and under Network adapter is a yellow exclamation mark next to Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface and says, This device cannot start Code 10. I know this has something to do with IPV6 but what do I have to do to clear this up?

Teredo is used to tunnel IPV6 over an IPV4 connection. Unless you're passing IPV6 over the internet the Teredo interface isn't used.

Are you using Homegroups? That's about the only service that requires IPV6 at the moment.

This post at TechNet deals with the IPv6 error message and shows ways to fix the problem. The problem can also have to do with the router..

HomeGroup get an error of must have IPv6 enabled

I found the problem. I was testing out Zone Alarm Pro and IPV6 was disabled in there. I enabled it to see if it would fix it and all was OK. Thank you to everyone for your replies.

Zone Alarm Arrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg choke cough gag, the absolute worst of the all! It will cause you more problems than it's worth "on certain machines".

Glad you got it working again but if you have any more networking problems like with seeing other machines in the network or sharing files then Zone Alarm will be the culprit.

I got rid off it but it was a pain cleaning up after it, it leaves so much stuff behind.

Yes I heard that delating all the Zone Alarm files was a royal pain also because they hide them all over your system, man I hate programs like that!
