"Available Offline" does nothing...

Hi,

I have been sorting out my mums computer system in the house comprising of one laptop and one desktop and just need a basic little set up that allows them to use either even though its unlikely as everyone in the house has their preference.

I have freshly installed Windows 7 on both machines and added each of eaches downloads, music, videos and pictures library to each machine so they are visible.

On the PC I have been able to make the pictures, videos, music and downloads available offline with the sync tool which has worked perfectly and a great tool might I add, but on the laptop, I go to do exactly the same thing and the loading circle flashing up for a second and dissapears with no change whatsoever?

I have hunted the net for an answer to this so if someone could help me out, that would be great and put my OCD mind to rest!

Many thanks

David
