Domain Name System Switch Over

This is suppose to happen on 5 may, 2010. As an average user I don't know what this is going to do to me so how about some of the intelligent ones on here en lighting us not so brainy ones. Here's an article on it. Will DNSSEC kill your internet? ? The Register I ran the test and had a red do to packet size of 512. It says I need to to reconfigure your firewall or packet filter to allow large UDP packets through. I have no idea how to do this or if I have to or does this pertain to my ISP.
