No Wireless Connections Visable or Connectable

I am on my PC trying to connect to a wifi connection. I can do it easily on my Laptop (also running Windows 7) by just clicking the connection item in the toolbar. However, when I try and do this on my PC, all it shows me is what I am connect to at the moment.

    Any help?

    Internet Connection tips!

Check out this site, it has some good information that should be able to answer any questions you have about internet connections with Windows 7!

How to Connect to Wireless Networks | Windows 7 Tutorials

Also, make sure your wireless adapter is connected. If it is not enabled, you won't see any wireless networks being available. The next link shows how to do that!

    I hope this helps!

or - could it be as simple as clicking on the up/down arrow to the right of 'wireless network connection' at the connection item in the toolbar to show/hide connections?

    TheManHunt,
To help us help you, could you please download Speccy from Piriform and update your System Specs with the info presented there?

Speccy - System Information - Free Download

    Try following:
    WIN key
    type Network Diagnostics
    ENTER key

follow prompts, etc and see if your problem is gone.

WIN key is the key with the funny looking, wavy flag on the key.

Ok. I think I have the info you need. If you need more, feel free to post again. Perhaps my computer (Dell Inspiron 545 MT) does not have WiFi built in (silly me). I believe I have a connector lying around somehere >.>

Even something such as this should get u get going (not too expensive) -- u might want to purchase a brand that says Windows 7 compliant (ready) on the box.
