Win 7 Professional 64bit client laptop unable to join

    Win 7 Professional 64bit client laptop unable to join


    domain. Is it true that win 7 having join domain issue with win 2003 small business server? I heard from fren that perhaps ultimate & business version will have no issue in joining. Can someone verify? My user is using a Pro version..

    Should be no problem with Pro version. What error(s) are u receiving ?

    Which one is right for you? - Microsoft Windows
    If I remember correctly is this:
    "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"

    The user has brought her laptop back to the vendor for servicing as her laptop is newly bought and have some issue. So that means to say pro can join too? I shall try again then..

    Pro can definitely join Sir. This appears to be a user verification (authentication) problem -- who is in charge of the domain?

    I have 32 bit Win 7 pro and had no problems joining my workplace domain.
