How to bypass isp's bandwidth limit?

guys, do you know how to bypass isp's bandwidth limit? i have a very slow intenet and i want it to become faster. i'm using linksys wrt54g router. please help. thanks.

It's not possible.

Some cable internet providers and / or cable modems have UL/DL limits, even if your lease is faster.

For instance if you pay for a 10 Mbps line, your download speed in ideal conditions would be about 1200 kBps, but a cable modem might have a 512 kBps cap. It's possible to uncap a cable modem, 'let the beast out', but it's a procedure that can go really wrong.

You can not uncap DSL / ADSL / VDSL modems or routers.

Even if you did bypass it, you risk losing service from the ISP for bypassing the contract.

Yeah they monitor those cable modems very closely...

What you are asking us to do is tell you if there is a hack to be done on the cable model..... I am not saying that its not impossible but everyone else is right. It is hacking and if they find out (ISP) you will pay a fine and be banned.

Easiest thing to do is just paying that extra:
