| | How to bypass isp's bandwidth limit? guys, do you know how to bypass isp's bandwidth limit? i have a very slow intenet and i want it to become faster. i'm using linksys wrt54g router. please help. thanks. |

| | It's not possible. Some cable internet providers and / or cable modems have UL/DL limits, even if your lease is faster. For instance if you pay for a 10 Mbps line, your download speed in ideal conditions would be about 1200 kBps, but a cable modem might have a 512 kBps cap. It's possible to uncap a cable modem, 'let the beast out', but it's a procedure that can go really wrong. You can not uncap DSL / ADSL / VDSL modems or routers. Kari |

| | Yeah they monitor those cable modems very closely... What you are asking us to do is tell you if there is a hack to be done on the cable model..... I am not saying that its not impossible but everyone else is right. It is hacking and if they find out (ISP) you will pay a fine and be banned. Easiest thing to do is just paying that extra: 15 Dollars |
