| windows 7 1 posts | Shared printer Windows 7 host with HP printer. 2 laptops (xp,vista ) in network. Have been able to print from both laptops when host is being used. When host times out laptops unable to print. Setting I'm missing? |

| Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1 482 posts Westminster, Colorado | Lucky. I have a similar setup except the host is running XP. I cannot get the printer to show up on the other computers... Your host PC is probably going to power saving mode (sleep/hibernate) etc severing connections with your network. Change the host PC settings and you'll be fine  Optimize Windows 7 This might help |
