    My active network is corrupted?

    Hi there
I had a wireless card connected and I removed it. Since then I am on ethernet, and I cannot browse anymore, some pages load in browsers, but I cannot download any files, and I cannot complete a speed test, watch videos, etc. Everything hangs. Now, before I removed the wireless card, my ethernet was connected as well and it ran fine!

When I look at my active networks, the ethernet one is listed, but it has the NAME of my wireless connection! I think they are getting confused. Now, how do I remove that network profile and make a new one? I cannot find any way to delete it and start over.

Otherwise I am stumped. My PC manufacturer wants me to reload Windows, which I really shouldn't have to do here.

    Thanks!

Are you using "homegroup" or "workgroup"?

We could use some screenshots of your setup
