    Remove hidden Wireless connection

    Hi,

Recently i change my router but on my computer i didn't delete the wireless connection.

    The SSID is eg: XYZ

I install the new router and put the same SSID but now in Windows i can see this

    " ZYZ 2".

I try to remove the old connection but only show me the actual wireless connection.

Someone can tell me what i need to do to have again the "XYZ" in the network name again?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what the problem is but you can edit those settings by going to the "credential manager" which is located in the control panel>large icons>credential manager> you can edit or delate your old connection there.

Have you tried resetting the router yet? Are you just trying to change the network name?

You might try posting a screen shot of the problem. Changing the network name is easy so I'm not sure what you are trying to do here.

You just need to left click on the little house icon and then you can change the name of the network. Very simple if that is the only problem....
