Windows 7: Remote Desktop Problem

I am trying to connect a live server using remote desktop but it's not allowing me. It says that credentials did not work but when I try it from some other computer it allows me to connect. Also few days back I was able to connect from my system as well but now its failing. Can you please help me. I think some service is stopping me to connect.

We could use a ton more information.

Is the network wired? Is it on a domain? What kind of encryption? system specs?

Not sure if this is related to your problem, but with the limited information perhaps this can help: Turn on and Enable Remote Desktop (RDP) in Windows 7 x64 and x86 or Windows Vista
