    Well, we now know your connection problems are related to dns. There is malware going around which changes dns settings. Maybe you got it.

    From an elevated command prompt, type

    ipconfig /all and make sure your dns address is same as your default gateway. If not, set it so.

    If it's been changed, scan for malware and remove what you find.

    Let me see if this helps.
    1. master boot is C:\Vista
    2. second boot is L:\Win7
    3. vista boots to internet thru router 100% every time
    4. Win7 boots intermittently or drops connection for no reason.
    Guy this was my problem.....--------------------please change things as you need.
    5. I fixed to no internet connection problems at all.
    5a. opened network and sharing center in Win7-
    5b. deleted the connection made by Win7.
    5c. manually started make connection to connect to internet
    5d. in options go to advanced enter ISP give log and pass
    complete connection.
    5e. close out back to desktop
    5f. click icon in taskbar to connect
    since doing this I have had NO CONNECTION P[ROBLEMS, I have not lost a connection.

    so there is something in my actual internet causing my problems. that doesn't make sense to me cause everything that connects to the internet isn't working(itunes, frostwire, the regular IE8,etc.) like in the pic but minefield(firefox 64 bit browser) and IE 8 64 bit work just fine. which is what leads me to believe that it is something to do with windows 7 64 bit or how it installed. even more confusing is that other people have used the same build windows 7 64 bit and have been able to use things like firefox and frostwire
