    Random Internet Connectivity Problems

Hi, I have 2 computers, one is a xp and the other one is windows 7. I used a D-Link EBR-2310 router(wired cable), to get internet for both of my computers. The problem is that my internet stops working every about 8minutes. It stops for like 4 minutes and then it starts to work again. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. When I play games, I experience a fps weird lag. I don't disconnect from games, its just my fps drops from like 42 to 21. I'm not really good with computers, so can you guys provide a detailed instruction on how to fix this.

    Please and thank you. :)

We can be of more help, if you fill out the system specs. At the top of your screen you will see user cp. Go to control panel and fill in the specs.

Lets see if some process is using resources that will not allow the internet connection to work properly. Try this:

This particular router has endless complaints exactly as you are describing. I would not waste another minute trying to fix it. Just read the reviews from Newegg and you will see what I mean.

It's hard to say why your last one won't work, maybe call D-link on that.

If you need a combo wired and wireless router, I really like my D-link DIR-655. It has wireless N with gigabyte speeds not to mention excellent reviews and is under 100 bucks at newegg.
