Hello, i just bought a new computer with windows 7. The computer has wireless capability and it can detect my modem in another room, but I cannot connect to it. I got 2 antennas and I put them in, but I still cannot connect. What can I do?

What firewall, antivirus, etc? are using encryption on the wifi modem?

    Hardware specs? Network setup?

Well, i have Mcafee security. Really the problem says that the Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adaptor is not working properly in device manager. It says, 'This device is not working properly because windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (Code 31).'
