Win 7 drops sharing with Xp pc's Randomly

Hi Guys

I'm in desperate need for a quick fix here. We recently updated one of our servers to a win 7 Os, used to run xp. So we have 5 pc's running programs from this server, of whom 2pc's are still on xp and the other 3 on win 7.

The problem now is that the shared files will randomly become unavailable throughout the day, and the only way to get all the people working again is to restart the Server pc. The network loctions will still appear but accessing it is the problem.

I can't see why its only the xp machines having this problem.

Can anyone please help with a fix for this. The only thing i have not tried yet is to format the two xp machines.

Thanks
heinrich
