    How to auto connect internet?

I have a internet connection which needs user name and password to connect.I need to connect it automatically at a particular time and also get it disconnected. When I was in Win XP I used to use RASDIAL command.I would create a batch file with RASDIAL Broadband USERNAME PASSWORD command and then use a scheduler to execute it at the needed time. But that time I also connected my modem by USB port. Now I connect my modem through LAN cable and the same batch file is not working.I tried to run it as administrator but that does not help.

    What should I do now?

Cric, you might find your autoconnect answer in this thread.

cyber, not sure why the batch doesn't work. One alternative might be to schedule access in your router, if you use one.
