    Host ventrilo behind router?


    I wanted to host ventrilo on my PC, but I use router Belkin F5D8235-4 v2000, so I dont know how to host it.

    I have ventrilo server program.

    Any help appreciated.

    YOu either need to configure port forwarding (but I can't see an option for that) or use DMZ.

    DMZ assigns your Internet (opposed to local) IP address to a specific PC and allows it to bypass going through router firewalls, nat etc.

When I play counter-strike and use ventrilo it starts to lag after a while.. others talk comes like 10 minutes behind... and when I disconnect from ventrilo server then I can hear what they said... Is there a fix for this problem ?? :shock:

I can't get Ventrilo to install, I've tried compatibility mode and and running it as admin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Soo sorry, should read the pop-up more closely. Does "reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f" have any bad effects on...

When I load up vent everything works fine intill I load up a game or go out of the vent window. Once I do that it doesn't register that I am keying my microphone to talk. Any ideas on how to fix this?
