Can't always connect to internet, says to reset adapter

When I log on to my ISP; att.net I sometimes get; detecting proxy setting>reset local area connection adapter>not a valid IP configuration, then the "fixit" dialogue box pops up and fixes the problem after about 3 minutes. This is getting annoying and only does it about 20% of the time. I have upgraded to their latest driver but this problem never changes.

Are you using homegroup, or workgroup?

can you type ipconfig /all in search and take a screenshot of the output and upload it

I'm using network homegroup. When I type ipconfig in the search box a black box pops up with white text in it but only stays up for 1 second. I just checked "use proxy" in the internet options box but it's hard to tell if anything works right away because the att homepage USUALLY comes up ok. When I use the "fixit" option if says; "local area connection doesn't have a valid IP connection" and then it fixes it and my homepage pops up, but it takes about 4 minutes to log on altogether.

Well I thought I had it fixed when I checked the "use proxy " in the internet box but it still won't log on to my home page randomly. In the fixit diagnosing box it says; local area connection doesn't have a valid IP connection. I did update my ATT.net ISP driver also.

if you use connection from ISP, that's IP must be randomly from the ISP. make sure you got the IP Address.

if the connection loss. try type ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release *Con*

    Hope can help you!

When I try to open ipconfig.exe the black box with white text just flashes for a tenth of a second on my screen. Not enough time to read anything.

i saw your spec that's you're using 8Gb memory, i just guess, how much stick memory on it? 4 sticks - 1 stick = 2GB, try to using 2 sticks on it, and that's getting you freeze again or not.
