Are they both connected the same way, WiFi, ethernet etc.?

Are your Network card drivers up to date?

Please could you fill in your System Specs under User CP so we can help fix any driver/hardware problems.

This most certainly isn't normal behaviour if they're connected the same way.

Mission please fill out your system specs under User CP at the top, specifically we need: Network Card, Operating system (not just Windows 7 but what edition would be helpful, and whether it is 32 or 64 bit is essential) and the method of connection would be helpful, you say they are connected by cable, but is it via a router? or are they connected directly using crossover cable?

Try swapping ethernet cables or swapping ports on the router and see if that makes it any faster.

What are you using to measure your speed?

Try using Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test.

Try updating your drivers, I would post a link to the most recent one to download but I can't find one. It's probably because I'm not looking hard enough.
