    Wireless Internet Connection Problems

    Hello,
Iv recently bought a new PC with Windows 7, but im having problems with my wireless connection. It connects fine to the router but it can take anything up to 30 minutes to load a web page.
Im currently using the BTHomeHub 2.0 router with a Belkin F5D7050 wireless network adapter. My old Windows Vista used to connect with the same router and adapter and i had good download and upload speeds with it. Iv also tried various routers and adapters but still get the same problem with them.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
    Thanks.

the fact that its connecting to the homehub alright suggests a internet problem...

How quickly does it load the main homehub page? it can be found at 192.168.1.253 (i think) if thats not it you can get it by opening a command prompt and typing ipconfig /all its under Default Gateway

Thanks for the suggestion, the page seems to take as long to load as anything else. I can connect to the internet through my X-Box 360 with no lag, which sits next to my PC. Iv also tried uploading the latest drivers from Belkins homepage and updating them on the PC, but with no luck.

ok, well in that case i retract my previous statement, the problem exsists with the PC, is it possible to try and connect via ethernet and see if that solves the issue? It will help to narrow down exactly where the problem lies

damn.... sorry i was hoping it was your network card you say you've got the latest drivers.... only one thing i can think of is either faulty router/faulty wireless stick, do you have another Wireless stick, or another PC which connects via wireless to test on it?

Iv tried a couple of combinations with my old BT and Belkin router as well as two other Belkin wireless adapters but keep coming up with the same problem. I dont know if is maybe just a compatability issue with Belkin and windows 7, i could maybe purchase a wireless adapter from another company to see if it resolves the issue.
