Windows 7: Sharing with 7 and Vista

Sharing with 7 and Vista

I just have a problem with this:
On the Vista computer I can see the 7 one and everything is fine.



On the 7 computer I only see itself, not the Vista one.

Also noticed 7's network is "Network 2" while Vista's is "Network 3".

Does that matter? They are actually both on the same network though, I mean both connected to the router.

What can I do?

you can use remote desktop connection to get the session on windows.

You need to use the same Workgroup name in order for those machines to share with each other. You should also be using a different Machine name on both machines or one of them won't show up. The link below covers the process pretty well.
