Hi, I have just got a new PC with Windows 7 installed. After trying and failing to use my Netgear WG111T USB wireless adaptor I discovered that I needed to update the drivers before it would work with Windows 7. I have done that and now it works. Well, it works in that I can see and try to connect to 3 of my neighbours' connections (I can't connect as I don't know the passwords!) but I cannot see my own connection - which is working as everything else I have (XP or Vista) can connect, either with internal wireless or using the same wireless adaptor.
I have tried changing the SSID and stopping/restarting the wireless WLAN finder service but to no avail.
My router is the white Netgear DG834GT. I wondered if that might be the issue - maybe my neighbours have different routers - but I have connected via ethernet cable and that works so I assume it is still something to do with the adaptor.
Any ideas please?
