Not sure what's going on with my Internet connection through router.
When I click on signal bar at bottom rt of screen it tells me that signal strength is excellent but I have no Internet connection.
When I troubleshoot it tells me the primary DNS server is not responding.
Not sure what's happened to cause this. Internet does work on other office computers. Please help

Any chance you could open a command prompt and type in "ipconfig/all" (without the quotes) :)
Where would i find "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" in device manager.
I didn't see this listed anywhere
Assuming that it's been activated, from Device Manager go to "View" then click on "Show Hidden Devices" then open up "Network Adaptors" and see if it's on the list there. If so you can disable it.
If it's not there you should be able to go into your router's set up page and redefine the DNS server settings. Using Google's DNS usually works well. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Posting your ipconfig/all here as Pooman suggested is a good idea also. We can see if the DNS is being handled by your router as it should be.

Assuming that you couldn't find the Msoft virtual wifi miniport adaptor?
It looks like you defined your DNS servers in your IPv4 properties window in Windows 7, I see three of them there.
It usually works best to delete those entries from your IPv4 settings, then go into your routers set up page and define your DNS servers there instead. You can use what ever DNS servers you want, I just posted Googles DNS as an example. You should only need a primary and secondary DNS.
After you do that your DNS should show up as your default gateway address of 192.168.50.05 which means you are getting the DNS from your router instead.
If the DNS just needs a good cleaning you can try this next.
1. Click Start. Type cmd in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
2. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
ipconfig /flushdns (there is a space between ipconfig and / )
It will show the message successfully flushed the DNS resolver cache.
3. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
ipconfig /registerdns (there is a space between ipconfig and / )
4. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
ipconfig /all (there is a space between ipconfig and /)
The ipconfig /all command displays Windows TCP/IP settings for all your network adapters.

I followed Chev65 advice all went well until I came to the registerdns command. The answer I recieved there was,
"The requested operation requires elevation."
Do you have any suggestions?
