    i have a problem very similar and have tried all the fixes i could find in this post, what happens for me is when playing an online game every 40 seconds or so i disconnect from my network and reconnect a few seconds later, but this disconnects me from any game i am playing.

    Buy another Ethernet card. It's cheap.

    Personally I got a good one for 15$. Now you can get it for 10$ there: New Intel 8390MT PWLA8390MT 1000 MT PCI Desktop Adapter - eBay (item 250643221285 end time Jul-31-10 11:50:34 PDT)

    This may solve your issue because the drivers are well supported in Win7 (the pro category is always better for drivers).

    fix for win 7 network card drop


    go to network and sharing center click change adapter settings select your card right click properties click configure card go to advanced tab and make sure receive side scaling is disabled.
