The problem is that Homegroup is not made for a mixed OP system network like XP or Vista. It's only made to work with Windows 7 machines. You need to set up a Workgroup instead.

If you have already installed an A/V software you may need to disable or uninstall it.

This Technet thread explains the process and shows you typical mistakes made along the way. :)

How to make Windows 7 work with older Windows versions for networking and file sharing.

    Hello kaisterkai;

Here is a thread from earlier this year you might look at. Since you have spent some time googling and have already looked at the helpful links above, please let us know which of the steps in this thread you have already tried?

    3 PC Network Sharing

    Cheers!

    Good day Robert

I have tried everything on there, except for the disbling the IPx6, I didn't try that, because I haven't done that before, when i had win 7 x32, I didn't have to do that and I could see the other XP computers. (Plus it sounds really technical.. )

But I heard from someone that: win 7 x64 can't connect to network IF it uses a wireless system.. And I'm using a wireless system.. So could that be the case?

Wireless makes no difference at all, as long as your networked machines are using the same default gateways you should be able to share files with them. You need to explain better exactly what the problem is rather than replying with "it doesn't work" which won't get you anywhere.

Are all the computers connected to your network using "Wireless"?

    Well, here is the situation:

    3 computers at home, 2=XP, 1=Win 7...

    All workgroup is on "workgroup"

The two XP's can see each other, but neither one can see the win 7 computer.

On win 7, I switched everything on, except of that password thing.

I haven't really done anything on the XP computers.

    What I have tried:

CMD. I ping both the XP computers and on CMD it can ping them. (And so can the XP computer.)

    Still nothing shows up.

Also tried using "run" typing in the specific name of the computer (\\10.0.0.3) and it says I'm not allowed to access or it doesn't exist.

So basical I'm out of ideas,,

    Thanks

Win 7 is using the wireless, but the other two XP computers are using cable
