Viewing a network adapter properties results in freezing.

Whenever I select my wireless adapter, right click and choose "Properties" the properties window freezes, and along with it the explorer window. Some time ago I had disabled a bunch of services, some of which were related to networking. I had done so because they were causing intensive CPU use problems while they were being loaded. I realize now I should of set them to manual, and I have set as many as I can remember to manual, but the problem still exist. Is there something else I could try to undo this problem, and aside from this everything else works fine with no internet or network problems.
