Everyone is on the same workgroup, but no communication??

    Everyone is on the same workgroup, but no communication??


    Win7 32 bit on one machine, win7 64 bit on another, Winxp pro on two others. everyone has the same workgroup NAME.
    but devices marked for 'sharing' on the Win7 pc's are not visible to the XP machines.
    How to solve??

    Have you added "Everyone" to the permissions list on the Win 7 machines for which ever folders you need to share?

    You may need to disable simple file sharing on the XP machines also.
