Windows 7: Everyone is on the same workgroup, but no communication??

Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows 7 Pro 32-bit, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Windows XP Home SP3
 
 
Everyone is on the same workgroup, but no communication??

Windows 7 32 bit on one machine, Windows 7 64 bit on another, Winxp pro on two others. everyone has the same workgroup NAME.
but devices marked for 'sharing' on the Windows 7 pc's are not visible to the XP machines.
How to solve??

What do you mean by devices? Can you elaborate?

Have you added "Everyone" to the permissions list on the Win 7 machines for which ever folders you need to share?

You may need to disable simple file sharing on the XP machines also.
