Windows 7: sharing doesnt work

hi, i have two Windows 7 systems (laptop and home-server) as well as some mac osx systems. i want to share 2x 500gb harddrives in my home-server with every other pc in my network.
So i joined the same homegroup as my Windows 7 laptop, i changed to windows sharing options so everything is enabled (and no password sharing) and then i right clicked the harddrive -> share -> allow everything for everybody -> apply

on my laptop i see the harddriver but when i click on it says i dont have the permission. i can acess the public folder tho..



the other way (so sharing my laptops harddrive) works fine and i did the same thing.

any ideas ?

I have the same problem. I'm sure it's a firewall problem I just never fixed it. Do you have Norton?

i figuredf out that when i use password protected sharing (so setting a password on the user u log in) willl solve everything :S

sucks cause i didnt want a password
