| | Software Distribution Afternoon all, I am running Windows 7 professional on my clients and Windows Server 2008 R2 on my Domain Controllers. I have a selected few users that require Flash Player installed on their machines. I am trying to push Flash Player out via GP which is fine. I am assigning the package. Utilising a test user I push the package out successfully if the test user is a Domain Admin or even a local Administrator on the machine. if the test user is however just a Domain User, the package does not install. This obviously is permissions/rights issue for installing software as a Domain User. My question is, how can I deploy packages to users when they only have Domain Users rights? There is no option to allow users to be local Administrators or to be upgraded to Domain Admins. Your swift replies would be most appreciated. |
