WOL over internet??
I usually remote into my home computer via the internet by launching remote desktop and typing in my home's IP address, my router forwards 3389 to the static IP of my home computer, and I can remote in successfully. (I also have an account with dyndns so typing my name.dyndns.org into remote desktop gets me in too).
But what if my computer is asleep? When I'm at my house on my local network, I can just send a WOL command to my computer to wake it up, then I can remote into it. But what if I'm on the internet and trying to remote in? Is there a way to remotely wake the computer up?
Thanks
Greg
