sleep mode lan limit 10Mbit?
i hope somebody can help me, on my media box i got windows 7 with a Asrock 330 Pro. its hooked up over HDMI to my tv and i got a tv receiver box that doesnt go over cable but it goes over internet and those two devices are hooked up to a switch. i set the asrock media box to go into standby after like a couple hours and when that happens the ethernet port limits itself to 10mbit instead of 100mbit and each time that happens my tv box doesnt work cuz it needs its full 100 mbit to watch the HD channels.
so my question is there a way to turn off the ethernet port when its in standby or up it to 100mbit.
i looked for in the power settings under the advanced tabs but didnt see anything only for wireless adapters. i was thinking if i should do changes in the bios. for instance disable wake on lan but dont know if that has anything to do with it.
thanks in advance
