    internet help


    ever so often any page i try to load displays like you don't have your connection
    but if i refresh it several ties it load fine and when i check my icon says i am connect even thought i get the Server not found like i don't have my connection in but my icon
    says it's connected when i hover over it and all the right lights are on my router
    so what could it be i am using cometbird exactly like firefox it happens for abount
    30 secs on and off for about 3 mins and then everything it fine what could it be

    This may be due to increase in speed recently by some ISPs, mine went to 24MB from 8MB, they have also introduced DLM(Dynamic Line Management) which analyses your line and set the stable profile automatically. If you switch off your router at nights try leaving your router on for 50Hrs because DLM needs 50Hrs of data to determine the right profile.
    I'm sure your ISP will fix it for you,give them a ring.

    also how do you delete a network coz i only need one network to connect to the internett and i by mistake created another
    one so now i have two networks that are the exact same

    also my dad is on the same router but he has no problem at least i do't think what could be wrong is it just something wrong on there end
    is there anyway to fix it on my end like just say it's not that what esle could it be i have a slow connection anyway with 80kb/s but i heard that there working on something in the town to increase speed but i am in the country side so it may not applie to me

    also this only happenend late last night and once this mourning

    Control panel-> Network&sharing-> Manage networks(W7 may have different wordings)
    Right click the network and delete, make sure you are not connected to that network.
    What I meant was, your ISP might have increased their capacity to accommodate a maximum speed of 24Meg and not the speed available to you.

    i can't find it i found the adapter settings but that shows only one connection with the two different names any way to get rid of it

    there is only one connection there called local area connection and it has two names one of my isp name
    and then a unidenified network and if you are in the network and sharing center page it says that i have two
    networks the one ehich is the name of my isp and the unidentified one
