Unable to connect to the internet, only to the network

    Hi everybody,
My windows 7 connection has always been able to conenct to the internet through any type of connection wifi or with wire.
But this time - i am in another country, Colombia - and the computer can only get connected to the network but i don't have the rest of the connection: no internet at all.
Even if I directly connect the ethernet cable to my computer it doesn't work...
Any idea to resolve that ?

    Cheers everybody !

Hi tessiermaurice welcome to the forums.

Couple of questions to help us troubleshoot:
    1. Are there any other machines on the network? If so do they have an Internet connection?
    2. Is it on ALL networks, or one network in particular?
    3. If on one network in particular, how is the network set up? is it a router or a modem?
    4. Please open command prompt and type "ipconfig /all" and post the results back.

Also, please fill out your System Specs it will help us enormously, both now and for future problems.
    Thanks :)
