Configuring a Domain Controller in Windows Server 2008R2
Could someone please tell me if it is possible to have two Nic's in a server which is configured as a domain controller and have the server be the domain controller of only 1 of the two LAN's That it is connected to?
I am trying to setup Direct Access on a Window Server 2008R2 Server. My Internet is provided by a Bt Business hub connected to one Nic, and I also have the server connected to a second Nat router on a separate Nic to provide a LAN.
The problem that I'm having is that the network connected to the Internet cannot have a Domain firewall profile, which it has because the server is taking control of the network as it is configured as a domain controller.
I need the network providing Internet access to have a public or private firewall profile.
Is this possible??
