Drive sharing between desktop and laptop
I have a desktop with Windows 7 Ultimate installed (A8N-SLI Deluxe, 2.1 Ghz, 1 GB RAM) and a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium (Acer, 2.1 Ghz, 4 GB RAM) installed, laptop is on wireless. They both have the same workgroup name, homegroup previously installed but did not work so I quit. Sharing is ON with Everyone, password protect is off, network discovery is ON, file sharing is ENABLED with 40-bit and 56-bit, the computers see each other, access is afirmative in the Users Shared folder but access is denied on shared drives. Why?
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
