    Laptop not detecting the router

    Hello.

I've bought a new Router to link it to my DSL modem. I did the steps and everything worked pretty good on my laptop and netbook.

Today it's working pretty good on my netbook which has windows XP but now my laptop - windows 7 is not detecting the router at all even I am near the router.

What can i do ? I am using D-link Dir-600 if thats help

    thank you

Has the Windows 7 machine been able to connect in the past?

I suggest reinstalling the network card drivers. Right-click on the device in Device Manager, and select Uninstall. Reboot, and let Windows automatically install the latest drivers. Be sure you are hard-wired into the router first, if possible.

    Thanks it's working now :)

I have a problem when I shut down my PC the "Internet" Ligh in the Modem turn On, this happens when a screensaver appear so when I go back i can't open any page unless I disconnect/connect the DSL again and the"Internet" Light still OFF.

Is there any way to fix this?
