    Wireless Capability is Turned Off

I am having issues with my wireless on my Asus laptop with Windows 7. About half a month ago, I was trying to help a friend with his internet problems, and was going through the steps myself. I instructed him to disabled, then reenable the wireless adapter in the network and sharing center. I did so myself, and noticed my wireless did not work after that. I ran diagnostics for it, and it told me that my wireless switch is turned off, which I checked and it is turned on. I tried switching it off then on again, but it still didn't work. I then did a system restore to get it to work again (which it did). Then, this morning, I was having trouble connecting to the internet, so, thinking it wouldn't do it again, I disabled and reenabled the wireless adapter, and now its doing the same thing. I tried doing a system restore, but it comes up with an error about the memory and cancels it. I would like to fix the wireless problem without having to do a system restore anyway. Please help.
    Thanks, GPolice

Nevermind, I fixed it. What I did was disallowed Windows to disable the adapter for powersaving, and I uninstalled the driver. I restarted it and let it install the driver and it worked.
