Printer Sharing between Windows 7 Ultimate
I have a home network with my computer and the kids computer on the network.
I have setup HomeGroup and Sharing between the systems. Both are running Windows 7 Ultimate. Both are Dell machines.
The HP laser printer is attached to my computer and is shared out via the HomeGroup setup in Windows 7. The problem is that I see their print enter into the spooler on my machine, but it never prints UNTIL I stop/start the print spooler on my machine. Then it takes a minute or so and then their print starts printing on the printer attached to my machine via USB connection. The printer is an HP 1022 Laser printer. All I want to do is allow my kids to use my printer.
Is there an issue with the print spooler in Windows 7 or am I missing something here.??
