how do I configure this router for VPN

Hi, I am trying to setup remote access for our work pc's using VPN, for 4 different work pc's/users. I am getting close but can't quite get it to work. Attached is an image of my router's VPN configuration page. I know I need to use port 1723, but I can't seem to use the same port number for all of the 4 different private IP's to connect to:

Anyone have any idea? I'm on a time-crunch to get this set-up correctly & I'm clueless.

This comes right off the VPN set up page here on the forum, hope it helps.

Important: Configure your firewall to allow access to TCP port 1723 to allow incoming Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) connection for VPN.

Router Configuration: Enable PPTP and Generic Route Encapsulation (GRE) on the Router. Depending on the type of router, you need to either enable PPTP or create a port forward to port 1723. If you’re router has an additional setting for PPTP or VPN, make sure it’s enabled. It’s usually called a “pass-through” setting (i.e. PPTP pass-through or VPN pass-through)

Thank you for the quick reply! I have already done those steps. The part where I am stuck is adding the port 1723 on my router. If you look at the image I attached above, that is a pic of my router's VPN set up page.

It asks for the decription, Inbound Port (which I assume should be 1723), Type (TCP), Private IP Address (which I am thinking are the individual PC's ip's that will be remote-connecting), & the Outbound Port (which I assume should also be 1723).

My problem, is we have 5 Private IP's (5 individual pc's that want to remote connect), BUT in this router configuration, I can only have one line with port 1723.

Does that make sense?

I'm really not sure what your routers problem is, you should be able to add more than one IP to use a certain port.

When I try to add a line with a new private IP & click save, it displays:

Client NEWLY-ADDED-DESCRIPTION Client Client FIRST/ORIGINAL-DESCRIPTION(first.original.private.IP)

with a Back button & when I click Back, it shows my original settings.

You might have better luck assigning port 1723 as the inbound port then assign the individual IP's to use the inbound port rather than using the private port which I believe can only be used for a single IP.

Do I do that by leaving the private port blank? Because when I try that I get an error:

No1.Invalid number! Must between 1..65535

Just thought I'd add we have a static IP. Not sure if this makes a difference to my issue above or not...
