Xbox 360 & Windows 7
I have searched the forums and sites through google for days. I finally given up and will ask because noone is seeming to have the same problem. First I got a Mac Powerbook, Win XP netbook, Win Vista netbook, Xbox 360 and a MAIN Win 7 desktop with all my media. Took me forever to figure out that I cant use homegroup and label all my workgroups the same and can now see my folders on my multiple computers, the mac, xp and vista. Also have ubuntu but dont even want to try that one yet.
BUT.. I really want to get my media on my xbox. I tried the Media Center thing and that didn't work but I really just want to see the folders I am sharing on my Video section, like it used to be with Vista and XP.
I went through to everything I can think of, Media Center isn't recognizing the xbox and when I go to Media Streaming Options, there is no way that my xbox 360 comes up anymore like it did at once.
I know my xbox is seeing things on the network cause I got my girls Windows Vista media streaming on WMP to catch and the Xbox 360 see's that computer, though I dont have any videos on there.
Anyone know anything I can try? Thanks in advance!
