Office 2010 32-bit and 64-bit coming on one DVD?

    They sure can fit both on one DVD. But what's the point??? You'll either use 32-bit or 64-bit, right? Not both!!!

    Well Microsoft only have to master one DVD, and the big retailers only have to stock one DVD, and the sales staff don't have to worry about selling the wrong DVD

    The install files for Office 2010 x64 was only about 1GB in size. So it will definitely fit on one disc.

    Would mean they can't sell you two licenses though

    There isn't much precedent for it, although Office is their single-most-installed app so it's possible they might do it. I can't think of any other apps/servers/suites that they distribute on one disc in this manner.
