some people say that you can talk to people on facebook chat on msn but it's only available in a few countries so far, anyone confirm this?

few new options when the program opens

all the options have been re-arranged with some new options

still cant see the option to save contact list although in the settings there is a option to tick if you dont want to save contact list or social updates :S

    anyone know what these are..

    show timestamps on messages
show expanded footer in conversation windows

    some things in full view

click on add > add people from other services > select from your contact list – brings up a whole heap of people who use msn that you dont have

click on all > choose one of the options (not sure if this is new)

I don't know what the expanded footer thing is. I know that the timestamp will cause each message to be accompanied by a line saying at what time it was sent.

I've tried it added my contacts from both Myspace and Facebook but i don't know. No one was coming online.. i went to the site and logged in to see and of course there's
people online. I haven't tried Beta 2 takes to long for a dial-up user..guess i'll stick to BETA 1 until the Final.

When you allow it to expand the footer, it allows Windows Live Messenger (why do people persist to call it MSN still?) to show image based advertisements at the bottom of chat windows, while with it disabled it will only show text based advertisements.
