Windows 7 Pro. 64/SP-1

I and many others as per Googles forum have turned it off logged in or not logged out and it keep running anyway.
Just Google (can't turn Google instant off) and you will get more to read than can be done in a day.

I hate . Is there a way to turn this off? Iíve tried lots of suggestions. My preferences say they are changed but donít stick even when Iím logged on.

Opera finally gets Google Instant support
Google Instant search launched on 8th September 2010 & Google promised Opera will be supported shortly after launch. Shortly is kinda vague it turns out that it means 10 months if you work at Google Thanks to Opera having the ability to edit any pages preferences you could select the network...

No Google Instant In IE9
I just opened up Internet Explorer 9 and noticed Google Instant is not in IE9 anymore; I tried opening and closing it several times to no avail. Is anyone else experiencing the same results? And is there any way of fixing this?
