I'm in NYC and it's been working since I got home, around 3 PM. It's good, but I still prefer traditional search. I'd like it to find my complete thought. Otherwise, it's like the Bing commercials where someone says a word and it keeps finding things you don't want.

It's been several hours since I last tried, and I have it now. Not too crazy about it yet...

This is just the latest step for google to tell you what you want, searches are now faster than instant. Next they will just tell you want you wanted to search for. :)

    but i do like it

Don't care for this. I mean, Google lets me pick my own background, so I have this smoking hot picture of Megan Fox which now disapears as soon as I type one letter. Nooooo!

But yeah, I can wait the extra 5 seconds until I type the whole search in.

I used to be able to type in the website I needed, click the "I'm feeling lucky" button and immediately get connected. Now I have to click on Google's suggested website, wait for another screen with the same suggested websites, click on the one I want and then get connected. That's more keystrokes for the same results as "I'm feeling lucky". Either it isn't working right or it's a step backwards for Google search.

You can go into the settings on the web page and disable the "instant" feature if you don't like it. I turned it off myself.

Thanks for the tip. Having the screen flash different search results for each letter I type is kind of annoying for me.
