"Own Your Space--Keep Yourself and Your Stuff Safe Online"

Microsoft has released a free—and lengthy—ebook covering a wide range of security topics. Although intended for teenagers, the book offers a solid enough look at using the internet safely, and it's suitable for anyone looking for a primer on internet security.

The 253 page book is a free download and Creative Common licensed. You can download the entire book at the link below or just the chapters you want to share with family members, students, or members of your organization.

Oh wow.... Would kids really want to read over 250 pages on how to stay safe?

I wasn't aware that kids were even aware of how to read books.

    Oh yeah, lots of pictures.

You know, kids read books with pictures. Comic books, Playboy magazine...

Granted this book is long but you can download just a chapter that you want. This even covers safe shopping online and I think parts if not all of this should be read by almost everyone or shared with people who might not normally think to much about their computer security.
