    firefox had already planned heaps of beta's before IE so not really interesting and according to the firefox website beta 6 was released on the 14th

    hardly no add-ons work im afraid, out of 11 only 1 of mine worked!!!!!!!!!!!
    sad really, i prefer Firefox

    That's the price of trying betas. If you really wanted to continue with your add-ons, you can do it a couple of ways.

    Type about:config in your browser address bar and agree to the warning message. Now right click inside the browser, choose New –> Boolean, type the preference name as extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0b and set it to False.

    add-ons: NoScript, AddBlockPlus, WOT is working.

    although i miss other add-ons, those 3 makes beta 6 usable at least ...

    beta 6 renamed ?

    "According to Mozilla’s Developer Center, company will issue a minor update to Beta 5 sometime this week, which will fix stability bug on Windows systems as well as OSX rendering and keyboard/mouse focus issues. As a result of this update, upcoming Beta 6 release will be renamed to Beta 7 and it set for the second half of September release."
