New version of Adobe "Square" Preview out: Preview 3:

    Old one was 10,2,161,22 (preview 2) :)

The links on the "Square" download page have been updated but the text content on the page has not...interesting...

    Happy 64 bit browsing!

    Testing now...

Shows a different version for me. 10.3.162.28

I'll metion that now they only give "square" in 64 bit version, and no more 32 bit like before. And only 32 bit with the new flash 10.2 Beta 1 that has the included "square" fixes and newer ones as well. Quite confusing. Seems they separated the names, and version numbers are slightly different from each other now.

Post your post in this thread also. It's the main ongoing Flash thread here, for all versions.

Is that the version number for the plug-in or the Active-X control, Airbot?

I use FF x64 and I haven't checked the new version on IE, yet.

Edit: Just did. The Active-X version (applicable to IE 64 bit) is the same as yours, Airbot:

Also, Airbot, re-posted in the thread to which you referenced. Thanks! :)

Interesting. I get the 10.2.161.23 version in FF x64 (which uses a plug-in) as opposed to the previous 10.2.161.22 version. My IE9 Beta 64 (which uses Active-X) version, however, shows up to be the same as you mentioned earlier.

Of course, for clarification to others who might be recently joining this thread, we are only discussing the "Square" preview release of Flash for 64 bit browsers.

Not sure. Maybe it hasn't updated fully on your side yet.

I get the same thing in my installed programs, Airbot, but the Flash web page - where the version is indicated, shows different for the plug-in:

Have you checked the plug-in, not the Active-X, version on this page?

Page probably doesn't detect the "square" version correctly. I wouldn't go off of that page, I'd go off of the actual version number on the install package.

Understood, Airbot. Regardless, the page does show a different version for the plug-in than was previously installed (10.2.161.23, new, as opposed to the old 10.2.161.22).

You can go with whatever version reported you prefer, I suppose. The one on the Flash page that tells you what version of Flash your browser is running or the version indicated in the installed programs dialog. Six of one, half dozen of the other... :)
